7th and 8th grade students from the Britton-Hecla and Langford Schools participate in the Eco Ed Day event held at Fort Sisseton in September. Students rotate through five informational stations that discuss natural resources of; prairie/rangeland, soils, forestry, water quality and wetlands. Personnel from; Marshall Natural Resources Conservation Service, Day and Marshall County Conservation Districts, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and SD Department of Agriculture present activities at the station.
